Lynn Price



Lynn is currently the Fire Chief of the Bolivar Fire Department in Bolivar Tennessee. In 2016 Lynn served as the President of the Tennessee Firemen's Association.  He served previously as President of the West Tennessee Fire Chief's Organization. Lynn was appointed to serve on the Municipal Technical Advisory Board in 2018 and currently serves on the Tennessee State Fire Marshal's Office Community Risk Reduction Advisory Board, the Tennessee Firemen's Association Board of Directors as 3rd Vice President, and as the Presiding Officer of the Hardeman County Fire Chiefs.





Lynn was selected as the Fire Chief of the Year in 2017 by the Tennessee Fire Chiefs Association. He was awarded the African American Leadership Award in May 2019. He holds the Distinction of being the First American American Male to hold the titles of Both Captain and Fire Chief in Hardeman County.



Lynn was Born and Raised in Whiteville, Tennessee. He has been married to his wife, Antoinette, for 30 years. He has two son, Tyler Price and the late Lyndricus Price. He is the PROUD Grandfather of three grandchildren, Legend, Taylor, and Adalyn whom ALL bring him a TREMENDOUS AMOUNT of JOY. He graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 1982. He currently resides in Bolivar. Lynn and his wife Antionette, are faithful member of Green Grove Baptist Church in Whiteville. Lynn likes to fish and Coach Youth Basketball in his Spare Time.
